Located in the south shore waterfront community of Hingham MA, the South Street Gallery represents artists of New England painting in a representational tradition. The South Street Gallery is an outgrowth of a forty-year family business offering fine art, framing, art appraisals and art restorations. We are committed to the advancement of developing artists as well as those who have established reputations and have created an investment value in their work. Many of our artists engage in the plein-air tradition characterized by a unique combination of fresh color, accurate values and interesting compositions derived from experienced on-site observation of the world around us.
