About the play
Addiction and dependency wind through the families and communities of a doctor, a drug dealer, two exiles who are expecting a child, and various others played by two choral/transitional characters, against the backdrop of the academic, political, and legal controversy over insite, North America's first supervised injection site for illicit drug addicts. How do we create the world we inhabit? What does it take to choose how we relate to those close to us, those more powerful, and those we can more easily hurt? Will we let ourselves and others apologize or will the search for clean, new beginnings consume us?
