Meet Our Team:
Dr. Simmons
Dr. Simmons is a graduate of the first and most prestigious college of Chiropractic in the world; Palmer College of Chiropractic.
It is here that Dr. Simmons was able to study and learn about Dr. B.J. Palmer, the Developer of Chiropractic.
One of Dr. Simmons most exciting achievements was being awarded with "Most likely to build a shrine to B.J. Palmer" award.
He has completed the certification residency course in the Science of Chiropractic. Included in the training are position x-ray analysis, heat differential scanning technique, specific knee chest, solid head piece adjusting, philosophy of upper cervical specific system and practice, and in clinical management. His certification was obtained in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where the world famous Kale Corporate Headquarters is located.
This procedure was first produced by Dr. B.J. Palmer, the Developer of Chiropractic, wherein he took care of the, "Worst of the worst, the problem cases" in the B. J. Palmer Chiropractic Research Clinic in Davenport Iowa. Dr. Simmons and his wife, Vanessa, have three children: daughters Brieanna and Shania, and son Alexzander.
Dr. Melanie Waskevich
Dr. Melanie Waskevich has been a member of the Simmons Specific Chiropractic Team since Nov. 24th, 2003. She moved to the United States from Canada where she graduated from Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland.
Dr. Waskevich graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While attending Palmer College, she completed a two-and-a-half-year internship with Dr. E.L. Crowder, specializing in Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic. She has traveled to Africa twice to see patients and bring much needed humanitarian supplies.
Dr. Waskevich especially enjoys adjusting children and expectant mothers - and is looking forward to caring for you and your family. Dr. Waskevich and her husband Joe have two children; a daughter Ella and son Jack.
Dr. Couch
Dr. Couch has been a member of the Simmons Specific Chiropractic Team since Oct. 11, 2004. He is originally from Upland, Indiana.
He attended Taylor University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Chiropractic Biology. Dr. Couch received his chiropractic training from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated Cum Laude. Palmer is the birth place of Chiropractic, and the college is renowned as the top Chiropractic school in the world.
While attending Palmer, Dr. Couch received additional upper cervical training at the Kale Clinics in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Dr. Couch has been happily married to his loving wife, Amy, for 16 years. They have two wonderful children: daughter Stevi, 16, and son Jacob, 14.
Vanessa
Vanessa, Office Manager, has a Bachelors degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor College. You may hear her on the phone or see her when you come into the office at the front desk.
In addition to scheduling appointments and training staff, Vanessa handles a variety of other daily tasks throughout the entire office.

Vanessa and her husband, Steven, have three children: Brieanna, Alexzander and Shania.
